2017 End Of Year Retreat

We’ve been planning a year-end retreat and we’ve finally finalised all the details. Please tell your friends, it’s open to all, you don’t have to be Catholic to attend.

Please register in the form below. We plan to carpool so the earlier you register, the quicker we can organise travel plans.

Usually the retreat is a time to really get back and connect with God….think of it as a day away in God’s presence. There will be talks, confession, praying for intentions and time to meditate.¬†Snacks and lunch will also be provided during the day. If you want to learn more about how to prepare for a retreat click HERE.

This year our retreat is themed ‘The Art of Waiting”. As Advent is a liturgical season meant to be lived with deep spiritual anticipation, it is a time of year which the Church invites us to look forward to spiritual gifts with the same kind of eagerness and delight that children feel towards material gifts. But how do we do that? The weeks leading up to Christmas and Epiphany are some of the busiest and most stressful of the year. How can we live them as God wants us to live them? How can we re-learn the childlike art of anticipation and apply it to our grown-up lives?
